by Magno Urbano Kodak announced the launch of a new ink in march, that will cost 50% less than other inks and will resist more time without fading. According to Kodak, its new ink lasts six times more than conventional inks! Actually, anything printed with a regular inkjet printer is doomed to last no more than 15 years. According to Kodak, this new ink can resist 100 years without fading. |

April will see the launch of Ubuntu Studio (ubuntustudio.org), a pack of several free programs for video, audio and pictures manipulation.
Ubuntu Studio will be initially released just for Linux with a probably (we hope!) Mac OS X version for soon after that.
Several programs will be included in Ubuntu Studio, like Soma Suite, Cinelerra, Jahshaka and Wired, some of them already available for Mac.
The idea is to create a powerful group of programs for the professional world.
This is not the first time something like that is tried. All tries failed in the past due to instability issues and lack of quality/usabily of programs.

The creators of Skype, Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, just announced their latest creation. It is a service named Joost (pronnounced “juiced”) that is no more no less than TV thru internet.
Actually, Joost (www.jost.com) is in beta state and its open just for guest. Meanwhile, Joost is accepting subscriptions to the beta program.
Many have tried to implement TV over IP before but none have achieved success. In Europe there are several telecoms offering TV over IP as part as their broadband ADSL2+ service. But as far as we see, they are very modest and timid projects with low subscription rates.

For those like me that dream with a slightest bigger monitor, the dream has finally came true! We finally found a monitor (see the next picture) that can satisfy our more exigent demand!
The object of desire shown on the last picture, is a HDTV monitor installed in Tokio and has just 67 meters (73 yards!).
For who doesn’t have 36 million dollars (~28 million euros) to spend, the only solution is Radius 320, the monitor shown on the next picture — a combination of 3 screens —, produced by Seamless Display.
