Mac OS X has a special directory called Movies, located on the main disk, designed to store all the movies of any specific user. The problem is that if one uses that directory to store movies will end with a full disk in no time. On the other hand, programs like Pages, iMovie, iDVD, iTunes and FrontRow, make use of that directory to organize and display movie assets. Another problem is that not all kind of movies (FLV for example) dropped on Movies directory are recognized by Mac OS X as movies. |

Windows Vista was launched yesterday. As usual, Microsoft launched it as a “revolutionary” product.
After a delay of more than four years and many of the promises not delivered, here comes Vista, a sad try to copy Mac OS X and Linux.
Here are the biggest “revolutionary” functions of Vista:
1) A new “glassy” interface called Aero. Aero relates to “air”. The name has no connection to the Aqua (”water”) interface used on Mac since 2000. It’s just coincidence;

Today, Steve Jobs (CEO of Apple) presented a new product called iPhone — claimed to be the reinvention of telephone.

As one can see by Steve’s keynote, iPhone has really all ingredients to be a new hit in the market. It brings back Apple’s concepts of simplicity, pragmatism and it is incredibly gorgeous.
iPhone is the first device to be completely designed to be operated by bare hands and to be multitouch, and brings many concepts of futuristic interaction interface design, as those in these videos: 1, 2 and 3.

Lest start the countdown to Mac World San Francisco 2007 on january 9, 2007!
The most waited event, obviously, is Steve Jobs’ keynote where he, probably, will announce Apple’s new products and Leopard’s new features.
If the rumours are true, we probably will have the launch of a touchscreen iPod or probably a phone capable of running iChat.
